Dwarf Burford Holly is a dense evergreen shrub with dark green leaves with a single spine at the tip. The clusters of inconspicuous but fragrant flowers in spring give way to heavy red fruits in fall which lasts through winter. Best plantedmoist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. Hollies are dioecious and need both male and female plants to produce fruit.
