Prairie Dropseed is a clump-forming native  grass w with fine hair-like arching medium green foliage that turns shades of bronze and orange in fall before fading to light bronze for winter.   Open branching panicles grow above the foliage with fragrant pink and brown flowers in summer and drop in fall.  Grows best in  full sun and dry to medium well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant.
